A loader worth more than a million dollars was purchased for the Donskoy GOK of TNK Kazchrome JSC, as part of ERG. The powerful newcomer ranks first in terms of advancement among the 38 different machines that entered the company this year. The renewal of the fleet will ensure uninterrupted and more efficient operation of the plant. In 2024 alone, ERG invested more than ten billion tenge in the development of the DGOC mining equipment park.
–Updating and modernizing the fleet of vehicles is among the company’s priorities,” says Nurlan Sarinzhipov, Director of Donskoy GOK. – Production is developing, and every year mining machines become more comfortable and safer for people, more “intelligent” and efficient, adaptive to modern conditions.
The Caterpillar loader is the latest acquisition to join the CAT family at the enterprise. It serves factories and has a number of advantages. Its large load capacity ensures high operational efficiency, and its boom reach of almost six meters allows it to load finished ore and railway platforms without using an overpass.
“Another absolute plus is comfort for the driver, the equipment is soft and easy to operate,” comments Yerkin Klyumov, chief mechanic of the mining and transport workshop. – In addition, the loader directly increases production efficiency and reduces costs: for example, by loading the rock mass itself. We no longer use excavators for such work, they can perform their tasks in quarries. In fact, this mountain “cat” can work for two.
The loader’s large bucket capacity ensures fast loading of quarry dump trucks – literally five buckets and the machine is ready to carry ore to the warehouse. Experts note the powerful engine, as well as the unpretentiousness in the service sector – reduced repair costs and high reliability.
In addition to the large loader, new mining and quarry dump trucks, front loaders, graders, and underground buses for employees have arrived at the industrial sites. Nine more units are expected to arrive by the end of the year. All heavy equipment of this type is listed in the mining and transportation workshop.
Recall that the company’s new mine is being prepared for launch, which will receive several dozen underground machines equipped with the latest technology.
